Mr Elias Prewitt, our chief clerk these thirty-one years, was buried on Friday. In clearing his desk we found the enclosed: eight sheets and a ninth, written in no hand that any of us can read. He kept them locked.
Our fair book for the same eight weeks goes with them, in case it is of use. We should like to know what the sheets say.
